What is 1060 Aluminum?

1060 aluminum belongs to the 1000 series of commercial pure aluminum, with an aluminum content ≥99.6%. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment but can enhance strength through cold working hardening. Core characteristics include high purity, excellent electrical/thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and superior formability, though with low strength. It is widely used in non-structural and lightweight applications.
