Production Process of Embossed Aluminum
Raw Material Preparation
Select suitable aluminum alloy materials (such as 1050, 1060, 3003, etc.) and verify that quality and dimensions meet production requirements.
Rolling
Roll the aluminum ingot through a rolling mill to the desired thickness, typically between 0.2mm and 3.0mm for standard embossed products.
Annealing
Anneal the rolled aluminum to eliminate internal stresses and optimize hardness and ductility for the embossing process.
Embossing
Pass the aluminum through embossing rollers to create the desired texture (orange peel, rhombus, cobblestone, etc.). Typical texture depth ranges from 0.08mm to 0.25mm.
Surface Treatment (Optional)
Apply surface treatments as required: anodizing for enhanced corrosion resistance, color coating for aesthetic applications, or polishing for mirror-finish reflectivity.
Cutting & Slitting
Cut or slit the embossed aluminum to the required dimensions. Common sheet sizes include 4' × 10', 6' × 96', and 8' × 96'. Coils are slit to the required width.
Quality Inspection
Conduct comprehensive quality inspections covering dimensional accuracy, surface quality, texture uniformity, and coating adhesion to ensure compliance with international standards.
