Hexagonal Aluminum Bar and Rod Weight Calculator
Accurately calculate hexagonal aluminum bar weight, supporting various flat-to-flat distances and length specifications
Hexagonal Aluminum Bar Diagram
Calculation Formula:
Cross-sectional Area = (√3/2) × (Flat-to-flat Distance)2
Note: The formula (3√3/2) × s² (where s is side length) is also correct. Since Flat-to-flat Distance (F) = √3 × s, substituting s = F/√3 into the side-length formula yields (√3/2) × F². However, the previous implementation incorrectly used F/2 as 's' in the (3√3/2)s² formula, leading to (3√3/8)F².
Weight = Cross-sectional Area × Length × Density × Quantity
